AFTER:

A neat and organized place to have family meals.

This is Ariane's home dining room. We use IKEA storage in the dining room instead of the usual buffet because my husband Alan had a whole apt. full of IKEA's Ivar System before we got married. When we moved in together, it only made sense to use as much of it as we could. It created lots of additional storage in the dining room. As you can see, we used everything we had to decorate. We even used our plates and dishes as Décorations!

BEFORE:

Yes, these were my cabinets before I learned how to organize properly.

AFTER:

I love my cabinets! All the cookout and party supplies are together. All my serving pitchers have their own home—and the shelf is labeled to help Alan understand what I did. I even turned the paper plates vertical so I can easily see what I have and pick out which ones to use. Nothing was purchased to organize this - I just sorted out what I had, organized, and put everything away.

BEFORE:

These were my candle and party supply drawers.

AFTER:

Now small candles are sorted, contained, and easy to find.

AFTER: Drawer 2! Large candles and candle holders also have their own home.
